Mississippi State’s 586 yards were second most in school history

prescott-2

So how bad was it?

It was this bad…

Mississippi State’s 586 total yards were the second most in SEC history by the Bulldogs. Mississippi State has been in the SEC since it began in 1932, so that’s not a stat to be on the wrong end of.

For bonus points, can you name who gave up the most yards to Mississippi State?

Kentucky, of course. The Cats allowed 592 yards on Oct. 12, 1991.

Looks like our o-line can’t block. Defensive line can’t pressure the qb. Secondary can’t defend. Receivers can’t catch and our offensive coordinator can’t call plays. Looks like we are improving.

So, you’re saying we still have a chance?

    Sure, why not.

Stupes should payback some of that raise from last year.

I feel like all the progress we have made since Stoops has been here was negated tonight. Especially after his comments after the game. This was really embarrassing. Hopefully I will be proven wrong. At least basketball season is here!

Even though we are an embarrassment to SEC football, let’s post up some sh1t about an ACC basketball team, to deflect attention on how bad we are.

We are more talented for sure and obviously have a ways to go. Still think this staff will get the job done but as for this season this was disappointing. Not the loss but the manner of it, they beat us up and told us about it all night long and we never responded. Still think we can win 3 more games, that total has lowered from my previous hopes. IF we play like this next week I will move on to basketball and sell my Charlotte and UL tix. Can only make so many 3.5 hour drives to Lex and already have tix for the Nov 13 and 14 for the basketball openers. Not abandoning the team, would watch on tv, but gotta give me reasons to make the effort.

tonight was the first night all year we didn’t look like an SEC team. We have to do better next week.

      Uh EKU

Uh Auburn – how many guys are on the field at one time? 8?

The first game of the year against Louisiana we looked like an sec team? Against EKU?

OK OK… you caught me. No, I am not a very good defensive coordinator…so what, big deal, think you can do any better?

What’s funny is it felt like even more. The defense was still trying to get lined up as Dak was 15 yds downfield for a TD. Stoops was supposed to be the defensive mastermind right? I’d say step one is making sure your guys know how to get into a defensive stance before the ball is snapped.

Once again Kentucky assumes the role of an undisputed rectum of the SEC.

They could have 800 if they wanted. We are swirling the bowl…

When teams go into hurry up, UKs D cannot adapt and it was on display during the EKU, Auburn and the Miss St game. Eliot is not a good D coordinator. No preparedness. I am suprised someone on the staff has not had panic attacks yet.
