Michigan 247 site thinks Marrow will join Harbaugh’s staff if offered

vincemarrow

Vince Marrow insists he and Mark Stoops are down like four flat tires, but Michigan’s 247Sports website believes otherwise. Steve Lorenz — whoever that is — is hearing Marrow will accept an offer from Michigan if one comes his way.

One of the first assistant dominoes may fall within the next 24 to 48 hours, as Kentucky tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow has been contacted by Michigan and would take a job with the staff if offered one. 247Sports National Analyst Steve Wiltfong alluded to Marrow almost a month ago as someone who would be a great fit in Ann Arbor, and at this point it looks as if that may come to fruition.

Believe it if you must. If it’s true, that will suck.

Just for the record, if he offers me a job, I’m gone too.

Hope Marrow hangs around. That would be a recruiting double whammy if he goes.

UofL just got a rude welcome to life in the SEC.

Looks like I picked a really good week to not become a Cardinal fan. Again.

A key to a winning football program is good recruits and good assistant coaches. If UK keeps getting poached by other programs it makes Stoops job that much harder.

Who all has been poached? Peveto wasn’t really a poach, he was offered a job in his home state and no one can blame him for that. Neal Brown accepted a head coaching job when the fans in BBN were calling for his head. And backward hat guy – I don’t feel like trying to spell his last name – was welcome to leave after game 3.

UK needs to retain the services of Marrow even at great cost. He is the cornerstone of the recruiting service. Plus, he is the kind of powerful character that we need associated with Cats Football.

    Chris Jones line today:

9 minutes off the bench, 0 points. This does not bode well for Jones future at U of L.

If he makes it through the whole season, look for him to transfer to Georgia Southern or something. Cards fans will spin it as usual.

He’s a senior, he’s done after this season.

Pretty sure he is not our recruiting coordinator.
