Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk has been suspended indefinitely. Mauk is back in the doghouse after a video of him allegedly snorting a white, powder-like substance surfaced on Twitter.
Missouri has not confirmed that it’s Mauk in the video, but suspended him indefinitely and released this statement:
“We are currently gathering information regarding the video in question. This is an issue we take very seriously and one that will not be tolerated within our program. We will take appropriate action once we have all the facts. In the interim, Maty Mauk has been indefinitely suspended from the Mizzou football program.”
Oh boy. This is Mauk’s third suspension in the last four months. The last game he played? Missouri’s 21-13 loss to Kentucky back on September 26. There’s a joke in there somewhere, but I’ll take the high road and just say that cocaine is a helluva drug.
The video isn’t exactly safe for work or kiddos, so to see it, click past the jump.
