Mark Stoops Will Throw the First Pitch at Today’s Baseball Game

As a part of a Big Blue Weekend in Lexington, Mark Stoops will get the crowd at Cliff Hagan Stadium fired up when he throws the first pitch before today’s game between the #17 Cats and #12 Ole Miss rebels.  Stoops will take the mound around 1:00, 45 minutes before he leads his team through the Cat Walk.

This isn’t Stoops’ first rodeo: last year before the Louisville game Stoops slung a sweet strike right over the plate.  Today he can prove that he is the best Wildcat to throw a first pitch.  After all, it can’t get much worse than this.

I also think we go 9-3 this year and beat out a major team in bowl competition. Next year, the sky’s the limit!

John Wall is a future NBA all-star, but Bo Jackson he’s not (neither was Michael Jordan). Try underhand, just for the heck of it. I’d like to see what the press would say.
