Mark Stoops will come on KSR tomorrow

Stoops-radio

It’s been a crazy few weeks for Mark Stoops to say the least, but tomorrow morning, he’ll finally come on KSR to address fans regarding the disappointing end to the season. Stoops will be in studio in the morning, so make sure you’re around your radio or streaming device to hear from the head man himself.

Does this mean staffing changes are on the way as well? Stay tuned…

“I feel good about where we are as a program. We need to work on getting more competitive and physical in the off season. I’m confident in this group, I’m confident in my coaches. I really feel like we have developed these guys and will continue to do so. This kind of thing can’t be done over night. Games can be won and lost on one or two big plays. Some of these games could have gone either way for us, unfortunately they didn’t work out the way we had hoped. I know the fans are frustrated, I’m not happy about the way the season ended, either. Time to go to work.”

There is a lot of things to work on, but # 1 has to be the receivers. We were a couple of dropped TD passes away from 7-5. Here’s looking at you, Dorian Baker.

With Patrick Towles gone who will step forward at the qb spot? Barker hasn’t sold the masses on his abilities yet. Can Hoak come in and start right away?

Maybe this season they will finally “get started bro..” Like start calling plays that get the teams best players involved more (Conrad, Jojo) .. like run a defense that fits the players on the roster (painfully obvious its not a 3-4) And of course we know they will “coach harder” and “practice harder” this season.. And maybe just maybe.. Dawson won’t seem to be the rare combination of both incompetent and arrogant.. but then again this staff has yet to show its capable of organizing a High School program much less make D1 adjustments. Stoops is loyal guy.. I’ll give him that. Maybe he can add a few more first time coaches (friends) to the staff that can’t develop the players cause they don’t even know what they themselves are supposed to do… Its work out soo well to this point.

I’m guessing no staff changes. For various reasons I say this. Hope I’m wrong.
