Mark Stoops Provides One Final Update Before Georgia

In honor of #TBT.
Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops spoke to the media for the final time before the Cats take on Georgia under the lights. Stoops said his players practiced with great energy all week and it’s translating on gamedays. The evidence is in the GPS units.
“We seem to be really playing fast from our GPS units,” he said. “I’m pleased with what I’m seeing and our speeds are staying high. The guys are working extremely hard.”
On the other side of the field, Kentucky will face a true freshman quarterback and a pair of future NFL running backs. Even through Jacob Eason has been the focal point of their offense as of late, Stoops expects the Dogs to feed Sony Michel and Nick Chubb.
“Bottom line is they have very good backs,” he said. “I’m sure they’re going to want to feed the ball and get those guys going.”

Young Stoops looks like an extra in The Breakfast Club.
And yes I know there weren’t really any extras in the movie.
His hairline looks so secure in that photo. I’d like to go back and tell young Stoops there are many things to come in his future, some good, some… not so good.
