As the Kentucky football team left the spring practice field, offensive tackle E.J. Price sent out a dozen fiery Tweets, including one announcing his departure from the Kentucky football team. The Tweets have since been deleted.
Mark Stoops told reporters after practice that Price arrived late. After sitting out of a few drills, he briefly participated in practice, then decided to leave before the final whistle.
“I’m not sure where he’s at, what the status is, but we’re trying to help E.J,” Stoops said. “We’ve been trying to help him through some ups and downs. That’s just it. We haven’t had any long periods of time where it’s been up to standard.”
KSTV has Stoops’ complete remarks on Price.
