Lloyd Tubman likely to follow James Franklin to Penn State
One of Kentucky’s top-rated in-state prospects, DE Lloyd Tubman from Seneca High School in Louisville, was thought to be a player Kentucky’s coaching staff could potentially flip in light of Vanderbilt’s coaching change. Tubman was scheduled to take an official visit to Kentucky on January 17th, and that appears to be a non-factor now as Tubman has pledged his commitment to follow Franklin to Penn State. At one point, Tubman was a consensus 4-star player, but saw his stock drop slightly this year to a consensus 3-star DE. Tubman is a 6’5, 235 pound 2014 prospect who held offers from Vanderbilt (where he originally committed), Indiana, Louisville and Kentucky.

**Update: It appears as if Lloyd Tubman’s decision is not final just yet. According to Steve Jones of the C-J, Tubman is still deciding between Louisville, Kentucky and Penn State. Stay tuned.

Not a big loss. What we need are more OL and Dlineman. At 6″5 235 he is a very undersized defensive end and will need a red shirt year wherever he goes regardless.
dont need him. we got denzel ware and jason hatcher!
