Logan Stenberg was a special guest on Kentucky Sports Radio today to look back on his four years on UK’s offensive line. He talked about how he came to Lexington, space camp, playing for Coach Schlarman, blocking for a couple of legends and those frustrating penalties that haunted him.
“I definitely deserved a few of them,” Stenberg said when asked about his tendency to draw a flag or two. “But there’s about half of them where it seems like… I got a big target on my back, which, rightfully so, I kind of earned it. Going into games know that they’re going to be throwing flags and watching you, it makes you try harder. I had to have better technique, had to keep my hands inside, had to keep my feet moving because it wasn’t just personal fouls, it was holding calls and all that. But it was a big part of my game.”
