Lincoln Riley talks about leaving ECU

ECU offensive coordinator, Lincoln , according to ECU 24/7 affiliate Hoist The Colours, and they straight up asked him is he was planning on leaving. Here is what he had to say:

“I’ve still got that on my shirt,” said Riley pointing to the logo on his ECU jacket. “I’m here. I’m ready to coach this bowl game.”

Pretty basic answer, expected from any respectable coach. However when he was asked if he would entertain outside inquires Riley said “it depends on the situation”.

I hope Kentucky is one of those good ‘situations’.

    I think it’s a done deal he’s leaving but just waiting until after their bowl game. It will be interesting to see if any leaks come out from the recruits this weekend

    So we have to wait until Jan. 4? Stoops left FSU…*FSU!!!*…before the season was over to get started! I know he is the HC, not the OC, but come on, you won’t leave ECU early for an SEC school? Oh well, hopefully he’s the right guy and it will be worth the wait.
