Latest NFL mock drafts have Bud Dupree going to either Dallas or Indianapolis

Signs Kentucky is becoming a legit football program: KSR is now posting about NFL mock drafts, too. Bud Dupree popped up on a pair of CBS Sports mock drafts this week, with Rob Rang predicting he’ll go 20th to the Dallas Cowboys and Dane Brugler putting him 25th to the Indianapolis Colts. Here are both their thoughts:
20. DALLAS COWBOYS: Alvin Dupree, DE, Kentucky
The Cowboys are hopeful that 2014 rookie Demarcus Lawrence will significantly boost their outside pass rush, but that won’t keep the team from adding reinforcements. Dupree, the SEC’s leading active pass rusher, is long, instinctive and closes in a flash.
25. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: Alvin Dupree, DE, Kentucky
The Colts gave a lot of money to Erik Walden and drafted Bjoern Werner in the first round two years ago, but the team has struggled to consistently rush the passer with Robert Mathis suspended and hurt. A former tight end, Dupree moved to defense and has really grown in several areas, especially his ability to get after the passer with above average first step burst and closing speed.
Want to thank Dupree in person for an amazing career at Kentucky? He’ll be at the KSR remote Friday morning with Matt and Ryan at the McDonalds in the Tates Creek Plaza.

I’m pretty young, so maybe this speaks to that, but also to how good/likable Bud is; he is probably only the second Cat in the NFL(Cobb being the first) that I will follow with the closeness that I follow NBA Cats.
Bud Dupree is a great representative for UK Football. I hope he is drafted early, gets a big contact, and has a long, healthy career.
