For once, I’m on Matt’s side. For some reason men in pickup trucks think they have special exemption to driving rules and norms. Used to be impatient Moms in minivans, but that has been changing.
She thinks my truck is sexy.
Hey, I resemble that remark! I do like driving a truck, but I don’t do all of that other stuff. I missed the beginning of this discussion, though. Was there some potential road rage incident?
Oh you know, Matt got in a parking lot confrontation… It ended in him being told to watch himself around people driving trucks (my paraphrase).

Got it. I know exactly what you’re talking about with the pickup truck attitude. I was driving my daughter’s Ford Focus for some reason or other about a year ago, and it was weird that people in bigger trucks would try to bully me on the road. Don’t you know I normally drive a truck?! 🙂
There are trucks that people drive because they need one, and then there are the wanna-be’s who think it’s cool, and never take them off pavement or let them get dirty. Those are what I call “city trucks”. 🙂
But then there are also people who just like the extra roomy interior and sitting more upright, with a higher view of the road, and find a truck really useful on occasion. That’s me. I think it’s stupid when people have off-road tires that never get off the road, unnecessary brush guard, etc.
I kind of get it. We had a SUV loaner a couple weeks ago, and one does feel superior up there.
Man, we really need Mintz to come back now. If we’re not getting the Minnesoota transfer, that is.

If Mintz wants to go in the nba draft, Cal is “all for it”; Cal is lost in his Faustian bargain, alas.
That’s the thing, though. Mintz’s game doesn’t scream NBA to me, and I don’t think that changes regardless of whether he stays at UK or goes. He’s *this* close to completing a master’s degree (presumably), and overseas basketball will still be there.

Well, if it’s this comment section… Matt, keep hammering Ryan over his illogical arguments when it comes to the 4th Amendment to the Constitution. Ryan represents the most annoying type of person for me when he gets like that.
BTW, and I’m not really a fan of any of the late night shows, the Mean Tweets segment on Jimmy Kimmel was really funny when it first started. One of the first ones I saw was NBA players reading mean tweets about them on-air. Boogie Cousins was on there and he was trying (and failing miserably) to keep a straight face. lol
They should do a version of that on here.

Speaking of unemployment insurance, someone got hold of my information and filed a fraudulent claim. I got a notice in the mail that tipped me off. So now I am circle the wagons mode with my financials. Fun! 🙁 While researching this, I read that up to 2/3 or the 90k outstanding unemployment claims in the state may be fraudulent. scumbags.
