Kentucky’s D held Alabama to lowest point total of the season

Never mind the fact Kentucky didn’t score a single touchdown, the defense did something no other team has done against Alabama this year — it held the Crimson Tide to under 35 points.

Bama’s 34 points on the Cats marked its lowest point total of the season, and let’s not forget that seven of those points were the result of a Stephen Johnson fumble that went 55 yards the other way for a score.

Does that mean, dare I say, the defense is improving?

If so, this season ain’t over.

We are improved. Lots of missed opportunities on offense too. Conrad was wide open on that tipped pass early. I personally feel much better right now than I did after UF. But we will see.

Bama looked bored and how can we say that was a good defensive performance. Gave up nearly 500 yards to a team that felt like they were having a practice. Still miss tons of tackles, take bad angles and the Dline does not pursue downfield. Plus we allowed them to convert 9 of 14 3rd downs. And if we play anyone with a decent D we can’t score. The Bama D outscored us 7-6 today.
