Kentucky’s 2019 Football Schedule is complete

Kentucky’s 2019 football schedule is complete. The SEC just released the dates for next year’s games, and for the first time, each SEC team will have TWO open dates. Kentucky’s will fall on October 5 and November 2:

                Aug. 31 – TOLEDO

                Sept. 7 – EASTERN MICHIGAN

                Sept. 14 – FLORIDA

Sept. 21 – at Mississippi State

Sept. 28 – at South Carolina

                Oct. 5 – open

                Oct. 12 – ARKANSAS

                Oct. 19 – at Georgia

                Oct. 26 – MISSOURI

                Nov. 2 – open

                Nov. 9 – TENNESSEE

                Nov. 16 – at Vanderbilt

                Nov. 23 – UT MARTIN

                Nov. 30 – LOUISVILLE

Interestingly, neither of those open dates fall on the weekend typically reserved for Big Blue Madness. Basketball on a Friday night, football home game vs. Arkansas on a Saturday? Sounds like an awesome weekend to be in Lexington.

With this years team maybe. but we’re going to lose a lot of talent in the offseason.

True, but some of this young talent is legit. Time will tell.

I see 11 wins a possibility. Georgia on the road will be a rough one. So 11-1 looks awesome

Yeah, other than Georgia, UK probably has a legitimate shot to win every game.

Why do we play Miss State back to back years? I thought the East/West matchups were supposed to rotate each year.

Every SEC East team is matched with a West team they play every year. This is basically for Georgia/Auburn (oldest rivalry in the Deep South) and to a lesser extent UT/Bama.

Really wish we were matched up with Ole Miss. We’d probably beat them a little more often and lots of chances for trips to the Grove.

10 W’s 2ND in the East. I’ll take it and 11-2 after bowl win ranked 7 in country final rankings after CFB’s! Following year 12-1 ranked 2 runner up in Natty Game lose to Bama by a field goal! TW Senior Year 12-1 National Champs baby! This is the BBN football prophecy!
