Kentucky will be represented at tonight’s Under Armor All-American Game

The best of the best high school football players in America will showcase their talents on national television at Thursday night’s Under Armour All-American Game. Whenever the best football players are all in one place, you’ll find at least one Wildcat.

This year you will see future Kentucky offensive lineman R.J. Adams. The No. 12 offensive guard in America according to Rivals committed to UK on Early Signing Day Eve. Hailing from the DMV (DC, Virginia, Maryland) and recruited by Brad White, during this week’s practice Adams explained to Rivals reporter Adam Friedman why he chose Kentucky.

“Just the coaching staff, coach Stoops, coach White, coach Schlarman made me feel like family,” Adams said. “And I’m just excited to be a part of the program. I want to be in the atmosphere of the SEC. And I feel like our class, not many people know about it, but some do. I feel like we’re going to shock some people next year.”

Tonight Adams will be coached by either Ed Reed or Deion Sanders. I wish I could give you more specific roster information, but the game’s website isn’t the most up-to-date. One thing that has been changed — Sam Anaele was named to the roster months ago. Now you can no longer find the future Wildcat on the roster. Unlike Adams, Anaele is expected to enroll at UK this spring.

Kickoff for the Under Armour All-American Game at Camping World Stadium is set for 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

I used to not care either way about the checkered uniforms, but it is just too Tennessee. Someone tell Mitch that we have seen that design for too long. Of all the things out there, why are we copying Tuna-C?

Forget the checkerboard, it’s time to lose the “bent UK – aka UH redux” and go to the Power K…

My buddy Boomer told me that y’alls worrying too much ’bout stupid stuff. The new UK website is rolling out a feature called ‘Bitch to Mitch’ where y’alls can complain. Leave KSR to the real fans and trolls.

The colors are Secretariats. That’s what they are paterned from. It has nothing to do with Tennessee. They are honoring the greatest triple crown winner that ever lived.

I don’t care either way about the checkerboard design, but those who say we are copying UT seem oblivious to the fact that we had the checkerboard pattern in our end zones before they did.

Nothing existed before they were born, Clutch. The whole world sprang into existence only for their whim and pleasure. They don’t know how to read or write anymore
