Kentucky Slips to 58th in Bleacher Report’s Power Rankings

Bleacher Report is back again with their weekly update of every team in college football. Last week the Cats climbed to 49th but the loss to the Gators has sent them back down the charts. Here’s how the Cats and their remaining opponents stack up:

3. Georgia (3-0), up 4

27. Tennessee (2-1), down 2

28. Missouri (3-0), down 4

29. Mississippi State (2-1), even

30. Auburn (2-1), down 12

58. Kentucky (2-1), down 9

62. Louisville (0-3), down 9

83. Vanderbilt (1-2), up 2

126. Charlotte (2-1), down 3

The one positive from Kentucky’s slip down the power rankings is that the majority of their opponents are slipping too. If the Cats can beat the three teams they ranked ahead of along with Eastern then they will be going bowling. Plus, three of the teams ranked 27-30 UK gets at home and could easily end up winning those games.

What do you think of the season outlook based upon these updated power rankings?

I have complete faith in Harry Potter. He’ll carry the Golden Snitch past those nasty Slitherine, to Griffendor for the win !!!

Or we could just give Barker a try.

8-4 definitely still in the realm of possibility.

We’re not going to “easily end up winning” against any teams we play currently ranked 27-30. You sir, are delusional.
