Kentucky set to wear all BLUE against Florida

Get ready for a blue out at Kroger Field on Saturday evening.

This afternoon, it was announced that the Kentucky football team would be decked out in all blue against Florida, opting for blue helmets, jerseys, pants, and cleats.

While we’re at it, Terry Wilson also released a message to the Big Blue Nation about his recovery process and urged fans to believe in the Kentucky football team as they take the field against Florida and for the remainder of the season.

25 hours until kickoff, BBN. Get ready.

Hell, dye the field blue; we’re the real Big Blue, not Boise State.

A friend of mine who keeps up with such things told me the NCAA won’t allow that any more. If Boise were to switch to green they won’t be able to go back to blue either I guess.

Oops, I just read your comment below RG. I wonder if UK could use blue paint like they used on grass, even if they just wanted it for one game, like the UGA game last year since it was for the east championship?

I actually emailed them about it when they were doing field construction.

The fake Turfgrass is usually pre-colored. It would be easy, but expensive, to order a new field with the colors used in the end zones.

Yep, Mitch would never go for it; we will have an entire checkerboard field first, ha ha.
I think at one time the ncaa banned fields other than green; Boise State’s field was grandfathered. Since, though, I think they rescinded that rule.

I hope Stoops doesn’t screw this one up. He shocked me last year by not screwing up and costing us a game, but he had the talent on the field to bail him out – that isn’t the case this year. I’m afraid we’ll see the return of Stoops Poops the Field today. 🙁

You must be fun at parties.

Seriously, remember the last TD last year? It was Stoops who was yelling for Robinson (I think it was him) to run it in. No doubt the uncover 2 defense was inexcusable, but that was 2 years ago. Don’t be a Bad Luck Schleprock!

      GO CATS!!!
