The media never gives us respect. If we use more trick plays on offense and a lot of all-out blitzes on defense, we should win the East easily. Coach Stoops and his great staff are head and shoulders above every other staff in the SEC. Now that he has the players, sky is the limit

JUST CURIOUS….IF ACCORDING TO THE MEDIA VOTE AUBURN WILL NOT WIN THE WEST DIVISION, THEREFORE NOT BELIEVING THEY CAN GET INTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, HOW CAN THEY POSSIBLY PICK THEM TO BE SEC CHAMPIONS…..AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE??

Auburn had more 1st place votes than Alabama, so I guess whether people were picking Auburn or Alabama to win the West, they were picking them to beat Georgia … I guess

SEC football is tougher than ever, UK players payment is near the lowest. How did Rich Brooks do as well as he did?

To answer the Rich Brooks question. During his tenture they started allowing Division II wins to count toward bowl eligiblity. Kentucky loaded up immediately with Norfork State types and road that horse as long as they could. Today, we have sunk to playing the schools that are transition from FCS to FBS and we’re getting to count them toward bowl eligibility. Charolette this year. Throw in Eastern Kentucky as the FCS team and whoopee, we get two ‘can’t put their shoes on’ teams to make us feel all warm and fuzzy. Thank goodness for the Louisiana Directional Schools and Vanderbilt. Those four should be wins. Now all we have to do is hope two other schools have a terrible season and we get to go to balmn Nashville or Birmingham! 19 degrees that day when we suffered that Compass Bowl loss to Pitt. What only 84 teams going to get to be bowl eligible this year. Sure hope we can make it.
