The latest Coaches Poll has been released, and the Kentucky Wildcats have moved up to No. 12 in the nation, a two-spot jump from last week.

Ranked ahead of them? Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, LSU, Michigan, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Central Florida, West Virginia, and Washington State. The Cats came in as the No. 4 team in the SEC and No. 2 in the SEC East, behind only Georgia.

To round out the SEC, Florida fell three spots to No. 14 after losing to Georgia, while Mississippi State shot back into the top-25 (No. 21, 11-spot jump) after defeating Texas A&M on Saturday.

Check out the list below:

Though it’s always great to see the Cats in the polls (especially in the top-15), I believe most of the Big Blue Nation has their eyes set on the AP Poll set to release at 2:00 p.m. ET.

A top ten ranking is almost certainly coming.

Most coaches don’t even vote themselves. It’s usually handed off to someone else.

Washington State jumped in front of UK? Really?!?! They play in a trash conference and beat the most overrated team in the nation. UK would decimate their entire conference. At least Central Florida is undefeated

It’s horse ish to think Ohio state who got blown out by Purdue and UCF who’s played 0 top 25 teams are ranked ahead of an SEC team who’s a close road Overtime ranked team loss away from being undefeated with wins over Florida, Miss st, Missouri and South Carolina – all top 35 teams.

We will be top 6 for sure but will probably come in at 8. Only bc we can only score 14 a game but our d holds teams to 13. So it shouldn’t matter. But to idiots it does because we’re ky. Let’s just have some trust and go play our game and stop being one sided with Benny. I really liked what terry did that last drive and don’t care if he has 2 turnovers if he plays that aggressive. Just can’t be dumb turnovers. Can’t be scared to play big!

I can’t lie, every time I see Louisiana State written out, I ask myself who the hell is that? In all seriousness, I’m anxious to see where the Cats are in the AP Poll. CATS
