Kentucky included in ESPN’s latest bowl projections

Last week, Kentucky wasn’t included in ESPN’s Week 1 Bowl Projections. A win over Central Michigan later and the Cats have cracked the list, with Mitch Sherman predicting a rematch with Georgia Tech in the Walk-On’s Independence Bowl on December 27 in Shreveport, Louisiana. A bowl is a bowl, but facing that triple option again? No thanks.

I’m not sure what inspired the change of heart from Sherman when it comes to Kentucky, but he also has Tennessee making the Birmingham Bowl, so maybe we shouldn’t trust his judgment. Both he and his colleague Kyle Bonagura do agree that Alabama and Clemson will face off for the National Championship and Georgia will make the Sugar Bowl.

This shows me how stupid these projections are… Whether you thought we are or are not going to make a bowl game, I dont see how the CMU game would make you change your mind either way. Unless he just made a mistake leaving out UK to begin with.

To hell with Georgia Tech…bunch of dirty players. If they target our knees; we should “target” their heads.

Imagine playing against that every year. Don’t see how that’s allowed considering all the rules now for player safety.
