Kentucky goes all-in on visit with Wandale Robinson

@robinson_era

The Kentucky football coaching staff is celebrating their 56-10 victory over Louisville with a visit to see prized 2019 commitment Wandale Robinson.

And it appears they’re going all-in to seal the deal on a signature when National Signing Day rolls around on December 19.

This afternoon, head coach Mark Stoops, recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow, offensive coordinator Eddie Gran, and wide receivers coach Michael Smith all made the drive to Robinson’s home in Frankfort.

Robinson tweeted out the following image of his Kentucky “family” soon after:

In an interview with FOX56 this past week, Robinson made headlines by saying he’d be “open to consideration” if Louisville managed to bring Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm on board.

“I’m not going to say anything unless that actually happens,” Robinson said. “Obviously I’ll be a little open to consideration. But nothing right now. As of right now I’m still 100 percent solid with Kentucky. I’m not really worried about any other schools.”

The entire video doesn’t help, either:

Prior to the rivalry matchup on a Saturday night, however, Robinson let it be known which side of the fence he’s on.

And again later in the evening, praising his future quarterback for putting on a show under the spotlight.

The Big Blue Nation has every right to be a tad nervous following Robinson’s interview with FOX56, though he’s been saying and doing all the right things ever since.

T-minus 24 days till the four-star playmaker can make it official…

    Message to Wandale…don’t pay any attention to this idiot zoupman. He is not a typical UK fan. We want you son. You will be a great addition along with Lynn Bowden and Terry Wilson to a potent UK offense next year.

    In his post-game interview with Tom Leach, Stoops said he had a couple of recruiting visits he was going to make on Sunday. Has anyone heard if he visited Bryan Hudson in Georgetown or if he headed towards the Glasgow / Bowling Green area to visit with Tanner Bowles and Jacob Lacey?
