Kentucky Football has already surpassed last year’s season ticket totals

How excited are Kentucky fans for the upcoming football season? Even though ticket sales are down nationwide, UK just announced that season ticket sales have already surpassed last year’s totals.

As of this morning, Kentucky has sold 30,612 season tickets, up from the 30,212 season tickets sold in 2018. Included in that total are 3,470 new season tickets and Pocket Passes sold. Earlier this month, installation began on new bench backs in the North upper level at Kroger Field. By the start of the season, all seats in Kroger Field will have bench backs or chair backs with the exception of the student section.

Want to join the movement? Season tickets are still available at starting at $280/each. The Kentucky Football Pocket Pass is also back, which allows you to get into all eight home games for $250, or $31.25 per game. Additionally, a limited number of season parking passes are available to season ticket holders. For more information, click here.

As a reminder, this season’s schedule features eight home games, the most since 2015:

  • August 31: Toledo
  • September 7: Eastern Michigan
  • September 14: Florida
  • October 12: Arkansas
  • October 26: Missouri
  • November 9: Tennessee
  • November 23: UT Martin
  • November 30: Louisville

Only 93 days until kickoff.

That’s nice. But they are too expensive in my book. I’m content with going to 1 or 2 games a year and watching rest on TV. You can generally buy them in the parking lot for less than face.
