Believe it or not, we’ve almost reached the halfway point of the 2020 Kentucky football season. As the games chug along, college football prognosticators are already looking ahead to the postseason.
This year’s bowl slate will be unlike any of its predecessors. There is no longer a win requirement to become bowl eligible. We also haven’t seen about 40 percent of college football in action. The Big Ten kicks off this week, followed by the Pac-12, Mountain West and MAC.
Despite the circumstances, we still have a fresh batch of bowl projections to consume following Kentucky’s 34-7 win over #18 Tennessee. At least two college football analysts believe Kentucky could play in a bowl game Mark Stoops has not attended before at UK, the Outback Bowl in Tampa.
