Let’s all hope OddsShark’s prediction is accurate

OddsShark.com is a popular website and betting tool for sports bettors who lean on its in-depth look into trends and spreads for advice on college football and the like.

OddsShark.com also provides predictions for each and every game on the board; and while I do not know the success rate of those predictions over time, I pray the prediction for the Kentucky-Florida game is as accurate as Kyle Macy at the foul line.

The prediction?

29.2 – 22.8, Kentucky

Exciting as that may be, how in the world does Kentucky plan to score two tenths of a point?

We’re going to win by double digits.

If any team can figure out how to score two-tenths of a point, you can bet it would be Kentucky. My prediction is that, on a field goal attempt to extend the lead before halftime, the ball will strike the upright, but instead of it bouncing off and going wide, it will be split in twain, with .066 of the ball going through, equating to .2 of three points.

This will then lead to anew offseason debate about how to score a field goal if only part of the ball goes in, and without actually answering the question, the response will be to have padding put on the goalposts.

Same website that had USC as 5.5 pt favorite last week.

So barring a collapse, relatively accurate? Haha
