Following a 35-21 win over Missouri this afternoon, the team got back to Lexington tonight just after seven. A contingent of UK fans were waiting for them on the other side of the fence from the tarmac when they got home. Check out the videos and a couple pics from the Bluegrass Airport.

I think Barnhart and Stoops get back on the plane and fly down to Austin tonight, with the UK checkbook, and a pen with heavy ink, and write Charlie Strong a check, a big, fat heavy check, to be our DC next year, so Stoops can concentrate on doing whatever he needs to do to get this team ready for a SEC Championship.

Who knows about rumors at this point, but Herman to Texas and Strong on shortlist to LSU. I actually like Strong a lot, but I think the way Eliot and Stoops have figured out how to split their duties is definitely the way going forward and we don’t need to mess that up. Especially with most of our defense being so young where we can look forward to being dominant next year.
