Kentucky Fan Day is set for August 3

Football season is right around the corner, and the University of Kentucky has just the thing to get you all prepared for it.

On August 3, the Kentucky football team will host its annual Fan Day, where all of your favorite Wildcats will be available for autographs.

The time has not been released quite yet, but last year, festivities began with an autograph session at the Nutter Field House from 9-10:15 a.m., followed by an open practice beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility practice fields.

As always, Fan Day, presented by Adrenaline Entertainment, is open to the public and admission is free for all guests.

Kickoff is almost here, BBN.

First time replying on this site, always been a big fan. I’m usually a bball guy so this fan day for football is new to me, any advice for taking my kids for their first time. Anywhere to be in particular to be best spot they can meet and see the players?

They usually have autograph sessions broke up into player positions on the field … it’s fun

Mboro-You will meet and see players but earlier you get there the more you will see. You line up outside then doors open. Inside they have players at tables by position. All WR at one area, RB’s at one area, LB’s at one area etc. You then get in line of that area and you will meet all those position players. Go to LB area and you will meet Kash, Oats, Square, Davis and all the LB’s. You then go to another area that interest you and get in line. Obviously the quicker you get in the building the more you will meet as they did cut it off so players could get dressed for practice which you can go out and watch as well, is not on Kroger Field but right next door and is neat to see. Last year my kid and I decided to go defense as the huge line was for the RB area {Benny}. We had time to go through the DL table, LB table and DB table and we did not get there early so had to wait several minutes just to get inside. Also got to talk to Mr. Marrow for a bit in between the auto session and the practice. I imagine now that they had a great season several so called fans will show up and act like they supported the team all along so lines will probably be a little longer.
