The latest AP Poll has been released, and as expected, the Kentucky Wildcats took a bit of a tumble.
After their loss to Texas A&M on Saturday night, the Cats slipped from No. 13 to No. 18, a similar five-spot drop to the Coaches Poll released earlier today.
As mentioned earlier, this is the third consecutive week Kentucky has found themselves in the AP Poll, the first time since 2007.
In other SEC news, Alabama held steady at No. 1, followed by Georgia at No. 2. LSU and Florida came in at No. 13 and No. 14, respectively, followed by Auburn at No. 21, Texas A&M at No. 22, and Mississippi State at No. 24. Out of eight ranked SEC opponents, Kentucky came in as the fifth-best overall and third-best in the SEC East.
Kentucky fell in the Coaches Poll from No. 15 to No. 20.
