Kentucky drops out of AP Top 25 after loss to Auburn

Kentucky Football’s 2020 season didn’t get off to the start many had hoped and they’ve been bumped from the rankings as a result.

After entering the weekend as the nation’s No. 23 ranked team according to the AP Top 25 Poll, the Wildcats have now been dropped from the rankings after losing to the Auburn Tigers on Saturday, 29-13. However, Kentucky still received four votes to make the poll, the same number as the Louisville Cardinals. Auburn moves up one spot from No. 8 to No. 7.

Kentucky didn’t see its name listed when the Coaches Poll came out earlier on Sunday, either, although they were not ranked before the Auburn game. Even though the ‘Cats fell out of the AP Poll, eight SEC teams still make up the rest of the Top 25.

On to Week 2.

It was never meant to be. Playing 10 SEC teams is going to make us realize how much we need those mid-level conference games.

5-5 would be a miracle after watching the SEC play Saturday. We just aren’t very good. Our skill positions are at the bottom of the league along with Vandy.

Bullshit Bullshit i don’t see why they took us out. We have the best o-line and D-line in the country and that’ not hyperbole all american player on offense and defense . National media says we are top 3 in the SEC. They just dont want to see us win the SEC.

We must have been watching different teams Saturday. Who has us top 3 in the SEC? At best we were projected 3rd in the East, which would put us ahead of Alabama, LSU, and Auburn if we’re considered a top 3 sec squad. None of that makes any sense.

They had no business being ranked in the first place. Why did so many people believe Kentucky had a chance? Auburn is an elite program; Kentucky is a pretender.

CahillsCrossingsNT and Pensacola_Cat_Fan, the weakest thing about UK is the panty waste fans like you two who are clueless. UK played at the number 8 team in the nation with an All SEC QB and held them to 324 yards, the CATS outgained them 384-324. If the CATS gets that TD they clearly scored right before the half that could’ve changed the whole outlook on things. The CATS up at the half and confidence is running high. I still say 7-3 is the worst they’ll do.

Cahill is no fan. He’s a troll from an obvious pretty bad team and fan base. He’s jealous of our success
