Kentucky continues to shatter losing streaks

This season is all about breaking different losing streaks. The Cats did just that last night by ending two different streaks. Kentucky ended a six game in-state losing streak. The last time the Cats beat an in-state team was in 2011 against Western Kentucky. Kentucky defeated Western 14-3 at LP Field in Nashville.

Kentucky also had not won an overtime game since 2007 against LSU. The No. 17 ranked Wildcats defeated No. 1 ranked LSU in a historic three overtimes on Oct. 13.

We got lucky bro’s…..let’s hope Stoops and his staff can pull out another win. After last night I’m starting to have doubts about how this season will unfold. Kind of scary considering our coaching staff at this stage. On the other hand we have a better record than than the Tards and that’s the only redeeming fact about this season so far.

Except we’re in the SEC, and UofL plays in a watered down basketball conference. Louisville SHOULD have a better record than us, but they don’t. LUCKILY, NCSU GAVE that game to them, so now they can boast about being .400 on the season. I wonder: would Houston beat USCjr, or Mizzou? Auburn might be the worst they’ve been in 10 years, and they handled the Tards pretty easily – even after giving up three INT’s.

Don’t worry – we won’t be flat against Louisville – at home – against a team that had 12 NFL players (yet still couldn’t make a major bowl) and only beat us by 4 at the Pizza Palace.
