Just a little reminder: Spurrier is 19-1 against Kentucky

“I’ve lost to UK this many times.”

If not for Randall getting loose in 2010, Steve Spurrier would own a perfect 20-0 record against the Kentucky Wildcats. Instead, the Ol’ Ball Coach is a measly 19-1 against the Cats. No current college football coach has won more games against one team than Spurrier over the University of Kentucky Wildcats. Good for him.

This Saturday, Spurrier will look to stretch that win total to 20 in a game his Gamecocks are heavily favored in. Not to mention, it’s Kentucky’s first true road test of the season and they’re still without a starting quarterback through four games. Oh, and they’re coming off maybe the worst practice of the season. Awesome.

Want more?

We can keep going…

Spurrier’s offenses have scored 30 or more points in 15 of his 20 games against Kentucky, including 10 games of 40 or more points.

Last season,¬†Spurrier’s Gamecocks trailed Kentucky by 10 at the half but came back to win, 38-17.

In 2011, the last time Kentucky traveled to Columbia, Spurrier’s team won 54-3. Kentucky had 17 yards passing and six turnovers.

Okay, you get the point.

Please, please, please #BeatSpurrier.

He will get win no. 20 without much difficulty on Saturday night but somehow I believe the game won’t be too bad. I am hoping for a competitive game through 3 quarters and maybe a 14-17 pt. loss. It’s kind of sad to hope for a three-score loss but if the team keeps improving and keeps their heads up, then I believe we can get a few wins after the Alabama game. Just gotta keep making steps forward. Can’t do it all at once.

Not going to happen. This team’s offense is out of sorts. We have future play makers, but I can’t tell if its that our receivers can’t catch a ball, or that our QBs couldn’t hit the broadside of the Titanic. We just suck. Next year will be much better, and maybe Towles will finally shed his baby blanket and earn the starting job. We’ll have talent and experience returning everywhere. The whole season will be much more enjoyable. Until then, it’s going to be long games with our defense, by some miracle, keeping it competitive, while our offense fails to convert 3rd downs.

doesn’t feel good, if you are Spurrier. Spurrier can’t go “I never lost to UK” again. (never heard him say it, but(t) it hurts) TuFF. try some aloe cream.

We can’t beat Western and we can’t name a starting quarterback. S.C. 48 ky 10, if he names a starting quarterback it will be S.C. 48 KY 24. THATS CRAZY.

Way to bring up the facts Drew. I believe that you like everybody but UK.

The Lord God Jehovah has revealed to me that UK will pull the upset 28-24 and shock the world. The Ole Ball Coach will have to wait to get his 20th win against UK cause it ain’t happening this year! Mark it down, Carl “the real deal” Rogers said so, actually Jehovah God said so, I am just passing along the message!

Carl – um, bong water is not holy water……..place the pipe back on the alter/coffee table, and slowly back away………release your enemies from the cellar, and turn out the lights then go to bed. It has obviously been a tough day.

Carl Rogers must be smoking some of that stuff Moses used during his 40 years of wandering leading the Jews out of Egypt.

Make it 20 -1 and it won’t be close. SC 52 KY 13. And Spurrier will play SIX QB’s just to show the Kentucky coaches how it’s done.
