Josh Paschal to undergo final skin cancer treatment

Some news out of the UK Football Kickoff Banquet regarding Josh Paschal…

Mark Stoops said Paschal has another immunotherapy treatment coming up in August, hopefully, Paschal’s last one. The hope is that after this final treatment, Paschal can say he beat skin cancer. Prayers up, fingers cross.

It was around this time last year when Pashcal was diagnosed with melanoma after having a skin lesion removed from his foot, which a tearful Mark Stoops announced publicly to start media day. Paschal missed the majority of his second season, but miraculously fought back to earn a start against Middle Tennessee State and brief appearances in two other games.

This year Paschal will move back to outside linebacker on the defense to help fill the enormous hole left open by Josh Allen.

Paschal means to pass over. I hope the cancer does as much and I hope he doesn’t live up to that name on defense, but rather passes through the offensive lines on his was to reigning fire on the opposing QBs.

The last Paschal we had was actually pretty decent.

I’m actually an atheist, so if you are referring to Jesus, from what I read he seems to have been a fine man, though I’m skeptical about the miracles. The Bible is a fascinating book and since I love history I have read it many times.
