Former Kentucky great Josh Allen is poised for a big sophomore season in the NFL. So much so, the Jaguars named him a team captain ahead of Week 1 in the season.

Allen joins defensive tackle Abry Jones, linebacker Myles Jack and safety Jarrod Wilson as captains of the defense.

Allen had 14.5 sacks as a rookie and is already one of the stars and leaders, and now a captain, for the Jaguars.

Hey remember when the Raiders passed on him in the draft?
