Of note:

JoJo Kemp is now listed as the #1 RB along with Raymond Sanders. Stoops said that he’d give the speedy back more playing time after an impressive performance against Louisville, and it looks like he’s following through on that promise.

— Still no clarity at quarterback, which is listed as Maxwell Smith OR Jalen Whitlow. Hopefully we’ll get an injury update on Smith in just a bit.

Josh Forrest is now listed ahead of Kory Brown at strong-side linebacker. Brown has missed the past two games because of injury.

More to come from Stoops’ weekly presser, which starts in about thirty minutes.

During the UL game I would get exited every time I saw Kemp line up. Love that I’m going to see it more often.

It is really amazing how many newcomers are all over the depth chart. Assuming recruiting keeps up, they are really building something here! Now, beat Florida!!!!!

I see Kemp getting banged up with more than 15 touches. We’ve seen this script before when we lean on freshmen. Especially young running backs. I agree he needs more playing time but we also need him to survive to play in two years when we have a chance to be decent
