Kentucky finally threw out of the Wildcat, only for Stephen Johnson to drop a wide open pass from Benny Snell that he could’ve walked into the end zone. It was the perfect play and a pretty well-thrown ball by Snell, but Johnson let it fall off his fingertips for an incompletion.
After the game, the SEC Network’s Cole Cubelic wouldn’t let Johnson leave without explaining himself in the postgame interview.
“I knew it was a touchdown,” Johnson said. “I went up for it and it get lost in the light… So I’ll be on the ball machine with the receivers on Monday.
But hey, at least we know it’s there in the future.
