Jared Tucker has Transferred to EKU
Former Kentucky defensive back Jared Tucker has not gone far. Tucker left the UK football program ahead of fall camp, traveling just a few miles down the road to Richmond to play for the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
The new addition to EKU’s roster is just one of many former Wildcats to become a Colonel.
Running back Dashawn Mobley is the greatest success story, earning OVC Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2014. Defensive end Patrick Grafree is another UK transfer to make headlines in Richmond, but his biggest hit wasn’t on the field, it was the hit he laid on Drew Barker in an EKU dorm.
After this move, and the offseason addition of Maty Mauk, I think it’s safe to say EKU is Transfer U.

No secret there, the advantage of EKU, or Murray is since they are a level down in football a player transferring from UK doesn’t have to sit out a year like they would at UL or WKU.

What that should tell everyone is that these former players were not as good as originally advertised when they were being recruited. You don’t see any of them transferring to B10, ACC, or other P5 schools.
Calm down.
