Injury Updates on Kash Daniel and Kavosiey Smoke

(Matt Bush-USA TODAY Sports)

Two key contributors for Kentucky were forced to leave the Sanford Stadium field Saturday night against Georgia.

Kavosiey Smoke exited the game during the first half at the end of a five-yard run. Mark Stoops revealed after the game the redshirt freshman running back injured the AC joint in his shoulder. Smoke’s status moving forward will be a matter of pain tolerance. He was able to return for a few snaps in the second half.

Kash Daniel did not return to the game after suffering an injury in the second half. Stoops did not provide as many details, simply saying the UK linebacker was “dinged up.” His status moving forward remains unclear at this time.

Why did Smoke come back in game? This staff needs to quit putting hurt players back in game.

They literally just said it was a pain tolerance injury. He won’t miss time unless he’s hurting. No risk of re-injury. It’s not like he tore something

If y’all don’t know about sports injuries then you have no right to have an opinion. Do some research on how different injuries manifest themselves and what they are like before coming down so hard on the staff.

I’m gonna trust the doctors call on this one and not internet md’s. ?. Visually, kash has seemed off for a few games now. He’s not playing like he’s capable so I’m guessing he tweeted whatever is bothering him. Not a diagnosis though. Lol. He’s tough though, he’ll bounce back

I have zero problem with what he did in the pile at Florida. It’s football and things happen. That’s not what my karma statement is in reference to.
