Injury Update: Snell, Meadows are fine

Kentucky had some players get banged up throughout Saturday’s game, but there were no significant injuries to be concerned about moving forward.

Running back Benny Snell told reporters he is fine after suffering a rib injury. His exact words were, “I’m Gucci,” which means good. Snell was taken to the locker room for X-rays, but he’s going to be okay outside of some lingering soreness in the days to come.

Then there’s offensive lineman Kyle Meadows, who left the game with a shoulder issue. He will also be fine, per Mark Stoops.

Snell….one of the few legit players that we have. Glad he’s okay.
