Injury Report: Charles Walker suffered rib injury

Kentucky was without Heisman frontrunner Charles Walker in the second half of the game after Walker got destroyed on an illegal targeting hit.

After the game, Mark Stoops told reporters it was a rib injury that kept Walker from returning, and that “he had to go get that checked out.”

The long-term prognosis of the injury is TBD at this time.

For what it’s worth, Walker returned to the sideline for the second half, but without pads.

Charles is a great young man from a awesome family. Played football with my sons at StX. We may see him as US Senator one day.
