Injury bug hits spring practice

maddenambulance

Mark Stoops is not a happy camper this morning. Stoops met with the media after practice and said that several players, mainly wide receivers, are “banged up,” including Jeff Badet, Ryan Timmons, Thaddeus Snodgrass, and Joey Herrick.

Stoops says he’s frustrated with the mounting injuries, but otherwise, practice was good. In fact, he said the injuries may force the staff to rethink the format of the Spring Game because of the lack of depth at wide receiver.

Nick Roush will be by in a little bit with more.

We don’t have to worry about our coach having any motorcycle wrecks this summer, but the red nation (LOOSERVILLIANS) are holding their breath!!!

Any self-respecting Nintendo player would know Tecmo was played from a sideline perspective.

LOL, Agreed Grammar King….and the Techmo series in no way, shape, or form looked like Madden.

Yes – it’s Madden 92…and the funny thing is that the ambulance would run right over the other players in the way of its path to knock them out of the way.

Sounded to me like he was giving an injury report rather than crying about it.

This is normal for us we can’t even celebrate a TD without getting injured! LOL Its funny that you never hear about this happening at elite programs!

no big deal, we’re still headed for a 50% win total increase this year

What… 0 to 1??? The Cats can’t win in the SEC, non-conference or wherever. Forever the losers that they are.

First, he said a 50% win total increase which includes non-conference games so I assume he’s predicting four wins. Second, a 50% increase of 0 does not equal 1. At least have some clever hate.

Kentucky won 2 games last year, a 50% win increase would mean Kentucky would get 3 wins this season. 4 wins would be a 100% win increase.

Some people make the most insane comments on here. Whoever thinks injuries just happen here are ridiculous! EVERY TEAM has injuries and he didn’t say anything about these being career ending or even if they will effect them in the fall. Coaches keep players out that are banged up all the time. It doesn’t mean they like keeping them out but it is part of keeping players from serious injuries that can happen from playing banged up.

We have always been the thinnest and most hurt team in college football.

Guess some things will never change.
