How to Pick up your $10 Kentucky Football Tickets in Paintsville

The University of Kentucky is offering discounted tickets to the Mississippi State game to the people who helped Kash Daniel become the Cats’ defensive captain.

Tomorrow from 4:00-7:00 UK Athletics’ officials will be in the Wal-Mart lower parking lot on 470 N Mayo Trail in Paintsville.  The tickets are just $10 (cash only) with a limit on 20 per person while supplies last.

Daniel thanked the University of Kentucky for giving the people from his hometown a chance to watch him play at Kroger Field against a Top 25 team.

“It was good that the University of Kentucky was good enough to go back to my hometown and was able to do this for those people, because I know a lot of people want to come watch us play, especially watch me play,” the junior middle linebacker said after Wednesday’s practice.

“For them to reduce the price a pretty hefty amount for them is really awfully nice and I can’t thank them enough.  I really hope that a lot of people turn out to buy those tickets and come watch us play Saturday.”

I would not drive from Pikeville to Lexington if the tickets were free. OK, I take the tickets were do I park? Let me get this straight. Probably have to leave no later than about 4:00 for a 7:00 game. Games take forever, say game is over at 10:30. By the time get on the road it would probably be 1:00 before get home. Thanks but not thanks. I will watch on my 50 inch flat screen.

Oh and I forgot. This is joke ” The tickets are just $10 (cash only) with a limit on 20 per person while supplies last.” They might as well make them 100 per person. Me and my girlfriend are going to go and buy 40 tickets then I am going to sell them to the K Fund members for $20 each.

Stay at the Hyatt ($169) and take the bus to Kroger ($1). Wake up late Sunday morning and go out for breakfast. Your entire weekend expense is less than $300, and girlfriends love lazy Sunday mornings. Or just stay in Pikeville, be a townie, and take her to see Predator.
