How many Cardinals does it take to block a Bully?

Questions were answered in Kentucky’s 45-13 victory over Louisville in the Governor’s Cup.

There’s no doubt Mark Stoops fielded a superior team. Lynn Bowden was obviously the best athlete in the Commonwealth. Another question answered during the 2019 Governor’s Cup: How many Cardinals does it take to block a Bully?

@DerekTerry

The answer is four.

Marquan “Bully” McCall, Drew Franklin’s favorite Wildcat since Charles Walker, drew attention from four Louisville Cardinals at once. Bully’s sacrifice gave Day Day Hawkins a clear path to the quarterback, sacking and stripping Evan Conley to end the game with a bang.

The best part? We have yet to see the best from Bully. I pity the offenses UK will face in 2020.

    Lou didn’t improve as much as some thought. Basically the ACC was terrible. My goodness, UK dominated the game.

    I think our D is a whole is going to be a problem next year. So much talent coming back as well as guys we redshirted this year who I believe will make a hell of an impact when they get out there. Could be one hell of a season next year if terry can get healthy or one of our other QBs can step up.
