Earlier on Friday, Alex Afari, who is rated as a three-star ATH by 247 Sports and a four-star cornerback by Rivals, announced his top 6 list of potential college choices on Twitter and the Wildcats made the cut. The class of 2022 prospect out Lakota West High School up in West Chester, OH also included the likes of Indiana, Iowa State, Virginia, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh among his top options. https://twitter.com/AlexAfari8/status/1365421535012524036 Listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, Afari has received a slew of offers in just the past few months. Kentucky initially extended an offer to him all the way back in Jan. 2020 and he took a visit to Lexington for Junior Day roughly one month before then. Looking at the list of competing schools, UK likely feels good about its position with Afari right now. Of his top 6, only Pittsburgh has been on him longer than the 'Cats.
