Hear what UK’s Players had to say after UK’s Second Scrimmage

The Kentucky football team is starting to find its groove after the second scrimmage of the preseason.

Even though the defense probably got the victory on Saturday, Terry Wilson is pleased with his progress. “I’ve come along way and feel more comfortable,” he said. “There’s probably a few plays I could do better on, but I didn’t take any sacks today, so that was a good thing, and I didn’t turn the ball over. I feel like I did pretty good.”

Logan Stenberg wasn’t too happy with the way the offensive line played on Saturday. That means he was quick to praise his defensive counterparts.

DeAndre Square saw the defense take the field with a much better mindset, especially up front. The experienced group makes his job much easier.

“They help me out a lot. They know their job,” said Square. “They communicate with us. A lot of d-linemen just get in a three-point stance and play the down. Our d-linemen communicate with us, they talk and know what to do.”

Feeling comfortable at this stage is a good sign.

Okay look over me again but this reminds me of a classic line from actor William DaFoe in the movie, Platoon..

      FEELIN GOOD IS GOOD ENOUGH

Figure out how I can hear the players and coaches talking. Not just you. You aren’t the star. But my favorite phrase, let’s look at them closely, maybe under the microscope, but really in detail. up close in a podcast let’s me know what I need to think. That other dude knows what he’s talking about. You, “So really, what I think is, maybe he’s good, I don’t know. No. Really, up close in a microscope? that as a group, I don’t konw, they should be good, won’t know thie coaches tell us, which is frustrating. Here’s a name……” Hey Jockstrap. There is a reason journalist make it, you won’t. Just don’t sound dumb.WTH
