The Kentucky football team is starting to find its groove after the second scrimmage of the preseason.
Even though the defense probably got the victory on Saturday, Terry Wilson is pleased with his progress. “I’ve come along way and feel more comfortable,” he said. “There’s probably a few plays I could do better on, but I didn’t take any sacks today, so that was a good thing, and I didn’t turn the ball over. I feel like I did pretty good.”
Logan Stenberg wasn’t too happy with the way the offensive line played on Saturday. That means he was quick to praise his defensive counterparts.
DeAndre Square saw the defense take the field with a much better mindset, especially up front. The experienced group makes his job much easier.
“They help me out a lot. They know their job,” said Square. “They communicate with us. A lot of d-linemen just get in a three-point stance and play the down. Our d-linemen communicate with us, they talk and know what to do.”
