It is halftime and your University of Kentucky Wildcats lead the Tennessee Volunteers 17-7.

Fourteen of Kentucky’s points came off turnovers, with Kelvin Joseph earning back his Bossman Fat nickname with a 41-yard interception returned for a touchdown, followed by a Jamin Davis 85-yard pick six. Kentucky had a chance to go up 21-0, but Keaton Upshaw dropped a touchdown pass and a Matt Ruffolo 30-yard field goal made it 17-0. On the next drive, Quinton Bohanna went down with an injury and had to leave the game and Tennessee scored off a four-yard run by Ty Chandler. According to UK, Bohanna is doubtful to return.

Bohanna’s injury and Tennessee’s TD certainly felt like a momentum swing going into halftime, but let’s give it to Kentucky’s secondary. After not getting a single turnover in the first two games, the defense has TEN over the past six quarters, nine interceptions and one fumble recovery. Three of those were pick sixes. That’s how you answer the bell.

Eddie Gran is, without question, the worst offensive coordinator in America hands down. 90% of high schools run a more sophisticated offense. Truly pathetic. Wilson would not be half bad with an OC that knew how to use him.

Not sure about in America but he’s flat terrible today. TW isn’t helping him, though, and neither is a stupid fumble and an easy TD dropped that hit right in the hands.

Terry is handcuffing gran. That’s been gran’s problem for years.

Should be 21-0. Who would’ve thought we’d be leading TN by 10 at half and I’m mad about it? Lol. Hope Bohanna’s ok.

Our Offense has been outscored by our defense 21-6 in the past 4 quarters. Wilson can’t get it done and they better make an adjustment or it’ll be another “snatched defeat from the jaws of victory” story. Joey Gatewood time.

I mean if you are simply going to run the ball straight up the middle between the tackles 3 out every 4 plays even when the defense is stacking the box, at least do it out of an I formation with a fullback and double tight ends. Heck, maybe even the old triple option with TW would work better than running the same play over and over again with the only difference being the receivers formation. It is just so freaking predictable, and the defensive ends can just crashing down every time. The success from 2 years ago with Benny, and somewhat from last year has doomed us to this offensive offense. It is really frustrating to watch…reminds me of the old Bill Curry days of 2-3 yards and a cloud of dust every play.

You have to have a balanced yet overwhelming ATTACK…with TW’s And Gran’s last series that’s how EVERY series should be ran…Defense can’t get a rhythm…!
