Gunnar Hoak became the latest Kentucky commit to take the next step. Hoak tweeted today the signing of financial aid papers with Kentucky. The three-star 6-4 Quarterback from Dublin, Ohio committed to the Cats back in April.

Hoak also announced he would be with the Cats for Spring practice, joining Drake Jackson and Kash Daniel for extra the practices.

Sidenote: With all this talent coming in early this year, it comes that much more important to get to a bowl game for the Cats. Spring enrollees can practice with the team before a bowl game.

How long until we start to hear the fake UK football fans ask for this kid to play over Drew Barker.

He def is more of a true pocket passer. Gonna be interesting since he is enrolling early to see how he can push Barker.

This guy has had several horrible games already this year, in High School. By horrible I mean games that make Pat look like Brett Favre. I am sure he is talented or the staff would not have gone after him but he is a long way from UK ready, at minimum 3 years. Benny Snell is who we need signed and delivered, the RB from Westerville Central. I am in Columbus are and get to follow these 2 alot and Snell will be hard for us to keep.

ESPN recently ranked Hoak as a 4 star if you put any stock into that service. This has not been a great year for the UK signee..
