Did you enjoy Kentucky’s offense this season? Then I’ve got great news for you. Today, Eddie Gran told SEC Country’s Joe Mussatto that he’s happy in Lexington and not chasing after any head coaching jobs.
“There were times in my career I chased it,” Gran said. “I just don’t feel I have to do that anymore. I’m as happy as I’ve ever been. I love Lexington.”
The statement comes after Gran was mentioned as candidate for some head coaching vacancies, including South Florida, which eventually hired Charlie Strong. According to Mussatto, before the Louisville game, Mark Stoops went to Mitch Barnhart to lobby for a new contract for Gran, which is now in the works.
