I did something very unusual today. I woke up before 7 a.m., put on pants, and left the house. That happens maybe twice a year, if that, and it happened because UK Football opened its doors for us to watch practice.
Nick Roush and I are still here as I write this, so we’ll save all the details for when it’s wrapped up, but we’re here and taking it all in as the Cats’ second-to-last week of Spring Football winds down.
Here, have a video of Terry Wilson tossing a 25-yard fade to Isaiah Epps to hold you over.

More of that to come.
In the meantime, a few quick things to know this morning:
— The Masters is officially underway. Jack Nicklaus hit the honorary tee shot about 15 minutes ago to kick off one of the best weekends in sports. If we’re a little distracted over the next four days, I hope you understand. Go Tiger.
— KSR added a new writer. Thursday is a big day for us here at KSR HQ as we made a pretty significant hire for the program. I’m not allowed to tell you who it is just yet, though; that announcement will come at 10 am on the radio show and here on Kentucky-Sports-Radio-dot-com.
— We’re revealing the name and location of our bar. Also on this morning’s radio show, Matt and Ryan will reveal the official name of our new sports bar coming to Lexington. We’ll also tell you where it’s going to be and when you can expect to drink a Pitino Knew Ale while watching the Cats on one of our many TVs. It’s going to be challenging on our end, but a lot of fun on yours.
I’m told we’re moving football practice outside right now. I think that means I have to go. We’ll cut this short now and then come back soon.
