Georgia doesn’t know its starting quarterback yet

Things aren’t going so well around the UK football program at the moment, but it’s not any better at Georgia, if not worse.
Mark Richt confirmed today he has several ongoing competitions on offense ahead of this weekend’s Kentucky game, including at the starting quarterback position. As of today, he still doesn’t know if he will go with Faton Bauta or Greyson Lambert under center. (Bauta threw four interceptions in his first career game last week, so I vote for him.)
Georgia will be playing with its backs against the wall, having lost three of the last four and gone 10 quarters without a touchdown. Richt said they will “fight like mad” on Saturday.
See? We’re not the only ones with football problems.
Beat Georgia.

I think they should go with the midget… #10. Yep, that’s who’d I go with.
haha yea whats up with that picture??
I know that GA hasnt scored in awile, but odds are our defense makes them look good again. Hoping for a close one
I foresee whoever they put in on Saturday looking pretty good. :/
Right On Dusten…
As a UK FOOTBALL FAN… I’d rather have GEORGIA’s problems at UK…than UK’s problems at UK.
GO BIG BLUE…
^^ Nah, you’d still bitch. Fact.
Unfortunately, we DO know who our starting quarterback will be. Ugh.
If Patrick Towles played against our defense, they would rename the Heisman in his honor. Not that Patrick is that bad, it is just our defense is so bad.
At least we have a defensive minded head coach that will make sure we always have a solid defensive base….. Oh, wait…
Rest assured, you could take Towles, put him on the UGA team, and he’d go 23 – 27, 275 yds, 3td /0 int
You know, they could put the mascot out as QB and somehow, we would still find a way to lose.
Unfortunate indeed.
My vote is for Lambert. Bauta may throw interceptions but he is a dual-threat QB. No need for him to throw when he can just run at will on us.
This ‘quarterback duel’ nonsense in the middle of the season is getting old. Auburn pulled the same stunt. Petrino wouldn’t even tell the media before one of their games. They had to wait until the offense took the field. These guys are paid millions of dollars, they have a plan they just aren’t sharing it with outsiders.
I used to think so too. But then I see our coaches and realize there can be coaches with absolutely no plan too…:) Getting paid millions doesn’t make them smarter…
The two most desperate teams in the SEC, both absolutely needing a win no matter how tough it is to get. Both teams have thus far been defined by holding back from giving their all, I believe. Can either of these teams learn to fight in a week?
Richt is probably a little more desperate. If we beat him, he’ll be fired by Monday noon.
The lucky guy that gets the start will look like a pro Saturday and the other guy will be thinking if only i could have played against Ky i would be the hero.
I suspect that we will make an “All American” out of any QB they start. I’d start a quadruple threat QB. If we can’t handle a dual threat QB, just think of what a quad would do to us.
I hope that Stoops does something totally off the wall for this game. Think outside the box. Make it fun again for the TEAM.
Off the wall would play on 4th down instead of kicking since our punter only kicks it 30 yds anyway. Also that way they can’t return the kick for a score. The worst that could happen is give up 52 pts. Desperate times requires desperate measures.
Yep. I’ll pencil the GA qb in for at least 275 in the air and 3 tds.
Yea, unfortunately we do know our starting QB as someone stated above, and that is all that matters. He can’t keep our defense off the field. Holding the ball way too long, throwing behind and over receivers, unable to read the defense at the line of scrimmage, the list goes on. I’d say take GA and the points and should pull in some cash once again.
Why all the negativity? Georgia’s quarterback may not necessarily look good just because we don’t get a pass rush or the db’s play ten yards off the ball. My guess – Dawgs 34 Cats 3.
anybody seen an over/under on this game? if they haven’t scored a td in 2 games, i’d feel pretty good about taking the under, because we all know that our offense isn’t going to go down there and put up more than 20.
They may not have scored a TD in 2 games, but they haven’t played our ‘D’. Whatever it is, take the over. We’ll make their QB look like Tom Brady!
Patrick would look a lot better if his line gave him more than a second to find a receiver
I have been saying this for 5 weeks.
As the ball reaches Pat’s hands a Ga. defender will be there also. Our O line may be the worst in football.
Yep, the line is part of the problem. Missing wide open receivers is not on the O line. Some times the DB’s and the LB’s look like they run better routes than our guys. Towles must think so, he has no problem hitting them right in the numbers.
maybe that’s the problem. Color blindness, he can’t tell the difference in the color of jersey’s. He just sees an open DB or LB and throws it too them.
Put Stevie Wonder in, we will make him look like a Heisman candidate!!!!!
All the while our receivers are playing like Helen Keller.
That’s okay. Our team doesn’t know how to play football so I guess that makes us even?
They made a nice little effort this year, gave us something to do while waiting on basketball to start but then the meat of schedule came around and the true team showed up. Oh well, basketball has started so we can think about football again in Augusta for a little while. Terrible QB and terrible O-coordinator makes it hard to be competitive. Time for the drive for 9. Now that football is basically over, can you please keep Jared off of KSR? Thanks
If I was y’all’s congressman the Cats would go to a new year bowl irregardless of there record
Does it REALLY matter who their b is on Saturday? I mean we suck asz! We loss by 20 either way so it’ll be the scrub for UGA that way they can rest the talent. While we have Fat Elam eating twinkles and ding dongs and smoking crack coccain during timeouts
Awesome spelling skills, Tard…. Wow.
You didn’t pay a bit of attention in school, did you?
DDT, never go full retard.
First, Drew comes along with “it’s not any better at Georgia, if not worse”, then DDT’s post – all over the state, English teachers’ heads are exploding!
