University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Garrett Johnson, Charles Walker, Courtney Love, and Jeff Badet find NFL homes as UDFA

The Kentucky Wildcat football team had zero draftees for a second consecutive year, but there are still a few seniors that have found NFL homes as undrafted free agents.

Former Kentucky receiver Garrett “Juice” Johnson announced tonight he would be signing a deal with the Chicago Bears.

In an interview with the Courier-Journal, Charles Walker said the Detroit Lions offered him a mini-camp deal tonight.

The Detroit Lions have invited the former Kentucky Wildcats wide receiver to a mini-camp in the coming weeks, Walker said Saturday night.

As of now, Walker could participate in the Lions’ camp in the hopes of earning a free-agent deal.

Courtney Love announced he has signed with the Cleveland Browns.

We are still waiting for news on Austin MacGinnis, Cole Mosier, Kyle Meadows, Matt Elam, Blake Bone, and Kendall Randolph, among others.

Former Wildcat transfer and Oklahoma receiver Jeff Badet also landed a deal this evening with the Minnesota Vikings.

We’ll update this article when more Wildcat deals are announced.

was thinking the same thing, after I stopped laughing. Why wait I can give you the Elam news now, he still eating. What a wasted scholly and he is a big {pun intended} reason why current KY High School stars are not going to UK.

I do not know Matt Elam, nor am I a fan of his (very disappointed in his performance, in fact); but taking very personal shots at him is in very poor taste. He’s used up his eligibility and is ready to move on. So should we. Best of luck to him. Let’s show some class, BBN.

Well said T-wah. For whatever the reason Elam didn’t work out at KY the way the coaching staff or the fans had envisioned but that does not justify the personal comments.

ZERO NFL draftees and stoops took us to two straight bowls; i hope people can start to realize that we are still WAY behind in talent and depth when compared to the rest of the SEC.

53 draft picks from the SEC! Not a single one from Kentucky. Yeah, that seems like progress. Stupes!
