It’s Youth Sports & Activities Day
Youth athletes or youth club members can purchase specially priced $10 tickets, with family and friend tickets priced at $20. Two youth football organizations will play a halftime scrimmage on the field and all other organizations in attendance will be recognized on the video board.
Honorary Captain: Jacob Tamme
Tamme was a consensus first-team All-SEC tight end as a junior and senior. During his Kentucky career, he had 133 catches for 1,417 yards, the most ever by a UK tight end, along with 11 TD receptions. He helped UK to Music City Bowl wins in 2006 and ’07 which culminated in an outstanding senior season with 56 catches for 619 yards and six TDs, earning fourth-team All-America honors.
The Danville, Ky. native also excelled in the classroom, earning First-team Academic All-America honors and winning a National Scholar-Athlete Award from the National Football Foundation. Additionally, he was named the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in football, named to the National Good Works Team for community service, and received Bobby Bowden Award as FCA National Player of the Year. He went on to play nine NFL seasons with Indianapolis, Denver and Atlanta and was inducted into the UK Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018.

The smartest play of the season: park at KSBar (but not in the Dairy Queen lot!), pregame, and let LexTran drive you to the game and back. Cat Walk: 1:15 p.m.
At 1 p.m., make your way to Gate 1 to watch the team arrive and check out the new push cart, which will carry a special guest from the UK Children’s Hospital alongside Mark Stoops each week. This week’s “Lift Them Up” Kid of the Game is 15-year-old Rosa Espinoza from Danville, Kentucky. In September 2018, Rosa had a stroke due to a very rare condition, Takayasu’s arteritis, and had to undergo intense rehabilitation. Every day she continues to get stronger and overcome obstacles that come her way. Her favorite color is blue and she loves music and dancing.
